FAQ
What is a good reaction time?
The average human reaction time to a visual stimulus is about 250ms. Under 200ms is considered fast, and under 150ms is exceptional. Professional gamers often achieve 150-180ms consistently.
How is reaction time measured?
The test uses high-precision timing (performance.now()) to measure the exact time between the screen turning green and your click. The delay before green is randomized between 1-5 seconds to prevent anticipation.
Can I improve my reaction time?
Yes, reaction time can be improved with practice, adequate sleep, regular exercise, and staying focused. However, there is a biological limit — most people cannot consistently react faster than 150ms to visual stimuli.
